11 Oct Swinging Bridges – Day 1 : “Let’s Ride”
Join me for a 500 mile ride on my WR250R around central Missouri to visit some early 1900s swinging bridges. Some of these bridges are almost a hundred years old and are historical gems. Day 1 includes some amazing Missouri creek roads, visiting a historic train trestle bridge and camping off the bike.
PS.: If you are wondering why I ride so slow over the slab creek crossings, well, if you are from the midwest, I don’t have to tell you why. But if you aren’t from these parts, those things are death. We call them slime crossings, or slip-n’ slides… here’s a few videos from local MO ADV’ers proving my point:

Just curious about the music, when ever I put music in a video, YouTube doesn’t seem to like it. Is vimeo the same way or do you have rights free music?
Thanks for sharing. On to part 2.

It’s good riding down there isn’t it!
