Search ADVrider.com with Chrome

I’ve switched to Google Chrome as my default browser mainly because I really like the speed of it.  Of course, when Firefox 4 launches I’ll be sure to check it out.  Anyway, there are some very cool things you can do with Chrome, one being super quick searching of your favorites sites.  One of mine being, ADVrider.com.

Once you add this little tip to Chrome, all you have to do is type your search term in the address bar.  It’s fast and easy, check this little video out and see for yourself!

Hit the Fullscreen button on the video to get a closer look.

    Hi,
I now see the URL above. Can you use this for any site by just changing advrider.com to something.com?

Yep, you sure can! Just change the url like you said. Works great to narrow your searches to a specific website.

Hmm.. I’m not sure?! For my RSS reader I’m using Feedly, it hooks to Google Reader and pulls in your feeds in a magazine like fashion. Check it out: http://www.feedly.com/
